Do I need genetics to use the Vitality™ Solution?
You do not need genetics to utilize the knowledge and answers provided by the Vitality™ Solution.
What does optional genetic analysis mean in the Vitality™ Solution?
Genetic data is not required to utilize the Vitality™ Solution. We provide, at no additional cost, optional processing of existing genetic data. Millions of people have genetic data files processed from vendors such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, and others. If you are one of those people, our genetic analysis software is the most powerful genetic interpretation tool on the market. Use your genetic data to discover genetic health insights.
What is the Healthoscopy™ and why is it important?
Our Vitality™ Solution includes the comprehensive proprietary Healthoscopy™ that analyzes thousands of health data points to determine the optimal nutrition, lifestyle, and fitness for you. Discover your disease risk estimates, health information on major body systems, and detailed recommendations for a healthier life based on your unique health profile.
What are the clinical findings and why are they important?
The Clinical Findings report allows you to input, interpret, and track over 100 common lab values, many of which have an impact on your overall health profile. Clinical findings supplement the information contained in your health and assessment data, helping provide a more complete picture of your health. The lab values are for common lab tests and are helpful, but not required, to develop the personalized health and nutrition plan. The core lab tests are common, major markers that are highly beneficial to developing your wellness program, such as blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood glucose, Hemoglobin A1C, Vitamin D, and homocysteine. Each clinical finding includes information to help you understand its overall value and relevance to your health profile. As you understand the value of these lab findings and discuss them with your physician, you continually add additional clinical findings to enhance your results.
What happens as I add more data? Can I get started and add more data?
The more data you provide, the stronger your health profile becomes. Our proprietary health software updates and calculates your scores as more data is entered. All you need to get started is your assessments and clinical findings and as you receive more health data overtime feel free to add it to your reports and your results will update. The program is dynamic and you can continually add additional clinical findings and update your health assessments to enhance your results.

I am clicking on "View Report" and nothing happens?
The reports open in a new tab on your browser. You need to allow pop-ups in your browser settings for the www.wildavocado.com website. Some browsers will also display the blocked pop-up windows in your URL bar on the right-hand side, and clicking on the blocked window will open it. If you need any assistance with viewing your analysis results, please contact our client support team.
What is the difference between "Typical", "Slightly Increased", "Increased", "Elevated" and "High" on the disease risk estimates?
The different categories for the disease risk estimates are designed to estimate the relative magnitude of your disease risk compared to a sample of the US population. "Typical" risk estimates represent a standard risk value within the population, and other risk estimates are compared to the Typical risk estimate. The other risk estimates, in increasing order, are "Slightly Increased", "Increased", "Elevated", and "High". Estimates are intended only to present an informational method of reviewing the disease risk results. Individuals with a typical risk should not assume they are protected from developing the condition in question, nor should individuals at Slightly Increased, Increased, Elevated, or High risk assume that they are likely or certain to develop the condition. We recommend that your review your risk scores with your physician or healthcare professional if you have further questions.
Nutrition Recommendations
How do you make the connection between my health data and assessments with my personalized nutrition recommendations?
Research has shown that specific nutritional habits can help aid your beneficial health profile. Our recommendations have incorporated hundreds of published nutritional studies investigating this relationship. Based upon your unique health profile, personalized nutrition recommendations are made by our software to help you optimize your health and address your disease risks. Your results identify specific disease risk areas to find the best diet for your health profile and guide you to a healthy lifestyle.
Will I lose weight?
The goal of our company is to provide insight on your health. Many of our recommendations do include nutritional selections. People who make changes to their diet following the recommendations, provided by the software may see weight loss. Overall, we aim to provide you with scientifically sound nutrition that will optimize your overall health. Genetic DNA Processing
Is genetic data required to utilize the Vitality™ Solution?
Genetic data is not required to utilize the Vitality™ Solution. Uploading genetic data is completely optional to utilize the Vitality™ solution. Millions of people have genetic data files processed from vendors such as 23andMe, AncestryDNA, and others. If you are one of those people, our genetic analysis software is the most powerful genetic interpretation tool on the market. Use your genetic data to discover genetic health insights.
Do I need a genetic file for the Complete Health Genetics report?
For our Complete Health Genetics reports, if you do not yet have your DNA data, our service requires that you utilize one of the many commercialized genetic companies to sequence your DNA first. Genetic testing has become more common and affordable. There are a variety of products and providers to use, so explore your options when deciding. You only need a basic DNA test to generate results using our genetic analysis software. Once you have run your genetics, you can download your raw data from the service of your choice and then upload your data file to our service. Some of the services whose files we can analyze and can provide genetic results for include: 23andme, Ancestry, FamilyTree, and MyHeritage.
How long will it take for me to get my genetic results?
All you need is to make an account, download, and upload your genetic file to our site to run your genetic data. We go through a comprehensive quality assurance process. For some people the results are available in the matter of minutes, for others it may take up to one business day to complete the quality assurance process.
What is the process of providing my DNA information?
It is quick and straightforward to provide your DNA information to our service. Create an account with our service and find the upload button under your account home.
Follow these simple steps to generate your unique Complete Health Genetic reports; no saliva or cheek swab required.
1 –Purchase: Purchase the Complete Health Genetic report.
2 – Upload: Upload your genetic file from a previously used genetic testing vendor like 23andme, Ancestry, FamilyTree, or MyHeritage, and many others.
3 – Learn: Your results take just a few minutes to generate. Start learning and utilizing the report to build a foundation for better health.
How do I upload my existing DNA data?
If you have already run your genetics from another service, you must download your raw genetic data file from a personal account on the other genetic testing website to your desktop as a .txt or .csv file. Once your file has downloaded to your desktop, you can save the file onto your computer for easy upload onto our website. To upload your genetic file first, set up a personal account on our website. You will then be brought to a page where you can upload your genetic data. Our software will then safely and securely process this necessary data from the genetic service to upload your file onto our website for analysis. After your DNA is uploaded and processed through our system you will be able to see the report.
What if I have a DNA file from a service that is not listed on your vendors list?
We currently process DNA genetic files from 23andme, Ancestry, Family Tree, Vitagene, My Heritage and many others. If you have a DNA file from another service, you can still attempt to upload your file. Most likely we can process your genetic file. It may take some additional time to generate your results from files from new vendors. If you reach out to our client support representatives to let us know what service your file is from, we will likely be able to process it. If you have any additional questions, please contact our client support team.
I have an invalid category in a genetic report that I purchased. What does that mean?
An invalid category in your report indicates that your genetic file was missing some or all of the DNA data that would have been used to calculate a score in that category. Our software is only able to analyze the information provided, so occasionally, certain consumer DNA tests will not include all of the genetic information necessary to calculate a score. In the interest of providing the most accurate results possible, we do not attempt an estimation of your risk if data is missing from the provided file. If you have any additional questions about your results, please reach out to our live client support team.
I have a whole genome sequenced file in VCF format. Can you process it?
We have processed thousands of VCF files and will be providing that service shortly to our clients. Please contact a client support representative to discuss processing of VCF files.
How do I download my DNA data file from Ancestry?
Downloading DNA Data (from Ancestry.com)
DNA Data (or machine readable biometric data) is the data generated in the lab from AncestryDNA® and AncestryHealth® tests. It’s used to calculate your DNA ethnicity estimate results, match you to your genetic relatives, predict your traits, and provide health and wellness reports. This uninterpreted data is also called “raw data.”
DNA Data can be downloaded in a .txt (text file) format.
1. Go to your DNA Settings page on www.ancestry.com. If prompted, sign in to your account. To get to this page from any page on Ancestry, click the DNA tab > Your DNA Results Summary > Settings.
2. On your DNA settings page, scroll to the Actions section and click Download next to Download DNA Data.
3. Enter your password, check the box, and click Confirm. You'll get an email containing a link to confirm the download. The downloaded file will not be in the email itself; in the email, you'll click a link that will bring you back to Ancestry.
4. In the email, click Confirm Data Download. A download link can be used just once, and it will expire after one week. If your link has expired, start over at step 1.
5. If prompted, sign in. On the Download DNA Data page on Ancestry, click Download DNA Data. If you’re brought to a page that contains a DNA ad rather than a sign in page, you may be in someone else’s account; click the name or username in the top-right corner to sign out, then sign in to your account.
6. The file will be downloaded to your computer. The file name will be dna-data-(date).zip. If you can’t find it, check your Downloads folder or search for the file name (if you have a PC) by clicking the Windows key on your keyboard and entering the file name in the search field that appears, or (if you have an Apple computer) by clicking the Spotlight icon in the top-right corner of your screen and entering the file name in the search field. To open the file, double-click it.

How do I download my raw genetic data file from 23andme?
Accessing Your Raw Genetic Data (from 23andme.com)
You can access your raw genetic data within your 23andMe account one of three ways:
• Navigate directly to you.23andme.com/tools/data/
• Click on Resource in the footer at the bottom of your homepage, and select Browse Raw Data from the available resources.
• Visit your Account Settings and click on “View” under 23andMe Data. You will see a blue “Download Raw Data” button which will redirect you to the download raw data page.
Downloading Your Raw Data
To download your raw data, click on the Download tab from within the top navigation bar within the Browse Raw Data feature and scroll down until you see the "Submit request" button. You will receive an email to the email address associated with your 23andMe account when your raw data download file is ready. Typically, files are ready within 1 hour.
Locating Your Downloaded File
After you submit a request for your raw data file, you will be emailed when the file is ready to download. Just follow the instructions provided in the “Your 23andMe raw data download is ready!” email.
The Raw Data file will be downloaded in the form of a zipped (.zip) text file, and its name begins with the word genome. If you are having trouble locating your raw data file, try searching your computer for a file containing the word “genome”. Once you have located your file in your Downloads folder or on your Desktop, you will need to double click or right click on the file to unzip it. An unzipped version of the file will then be located in your Downloads or Desktop folders.
Some computers may automatically unzip the file for you, in these cases, you will need to look for the text (.txt) file instead of the zipped (.zip) file.
Once you have located and unzipped your file, it can be opened in a text editor like WordPad or Excel.
